NSi buys TORK

NSi Industries announced the acquisition of Tork, Inc. of Mount Vernon, NY, an icon in the electrical industry and a recognized leader in time switches and photo controls in the lighting and general control markets. “The addition of Tork’s group of products as well as their strength with consulting engineers, engineering, design and manufacturing capabilities is a perfect compliment to NSi’s family of products, marketing and merchandising strengths”, said Axel Rasmussen, President and CEO of NSi.

NSi sells electrical lugs, mechanical and compression connectors, split bolts, neutral and grounding products, modular power distribution blocks reinsulated under the name Polaris. The company also offers a wide range of wire-management products, including cable ties, panel channel, wire marking and unique and time-saving tools and accessories.
